New Knitter { $40 }
You’ve always wanted to learn to knit – now’s your chance! We’ll cover casting on, the knit and purl stitches, and binding off. You’ll knit a scarf in your choice of suggested yarn and styles. Instructor, Cornelia Griffin • Enrollment limited to 6.

Anne Scarf or Cowl { $45 }
Local knitwear designer Don Waalen will show you how to make his newest creation, the “Anne” cowl. Anne is a light and lacy cowl – perfect for Spring. Don will help you select a distinctive yarn and walk you through each step of the construction. It’s a perfect introduction to lace knitting. Your class fee includes a copy of the pattern. Instructor, Don Waalen. Open to those with basic knitting skills.

Crochet Basics { $45 }
We’ve had lots of requests for a Crochet Basics class, so we’re offering one! Join us and we will turn you into a confidant crocheter. This is also a great class for knitters who want to learn how to apply crochet borders or ornamentation (crocheted flowers?) for a beautiful finishing touch. Bring a light or medium colored smooth worsted weight yarn and a size H or I hook. Instructor, Bonnie Gidzak • Enrollment limited to 8.

Sweaters Two Ways { $75 }
Choose your sweater – a sophisticated waffle patterned swing cardigan with hood or a custom-fitted zippered jacket. They’re both on display in our window during the month of March. And they’re not that difficult! We’ll take you from cast-on to final seaming. Instructors, Cornelia Griffin & Judith Van Cleve • Enrollment limited to 8. Open to those with basic knitting skills. Please come by the shop to select your project prior to the first class session so you can have a gauge swatch prepared.
